I find no shame in admitting that I have been abused by someone I loved. But it is without failure that when confronted with the damage they have done and when a proclamation has been made as to the true character of that person, they will scramble with grasping claws and teeth, to any tiny shred of a story that they can. They will lie and scream and whine and beg so that the world does not see them for what they are- Monsters. No one single monstrous person I have ever been hurt by has ever freely admitted to the pain and destruction that was brought on by their hand, this does not change, however, the scars that I still hide.
